Aidan Culloton, MA, CSPC
Meet Aidan
Aidan Culloton is the founder and CEO of Ascend Performance & Wellness Coaching and is super excited to work with others in helping them find the power of Presence.
Aidan brings a unique combination of athletic coaching, sports psychology, and clinical mental-health experience to the world of whole-person performance coaching.
Aidan has a significant background as a USA Swimming coach, where he developed a firsthand understanding of the demands placed on athletes, teams, and coaches. His experience working directly within competitive athletics led to a deeper interest in the psychological and physiological factors that influence performance.
He is also a Certified Sports Psychology Coach (CSPC) and has a significant professional background in the clinical mental-health field. This combination allows Aidan to approach performance from a broader perspective—recognizing that what happens internally can have a profound impact on how someone performs externally.
Aidan is trained in Polyvagal Theory-informed techniques that help individuals better understand their nervous system and develop greater capacity for regulation. He also utilizes Brainspotting-informed techniques to help clients deepen their awareness of the connection between their mind and body and discover how powerful intentional presence can be.
Aidan believes that spiritual development can be an important part of whole-person integration. For individuals who desire a faith-informed approach, ASCEND recognizes that spiritual life, purpose, values, and personal identity can provide a deeper foundation from which to perform and live.
Company Overview
ASCEND provides whole-person coaching for high-performing individuals and teams who want to perform at their best with greater clarity, presence, resilience, and authenticity. Our approach focuses on helping you better understand and integrate the systems that influence your performance—so you can respond to pressure more effectively, overcome internal obstacles, and bring your most capable and authentic self to the moment.
Our coaching philosophy draws from performance psychology, Polyvagal Theory-informed techniques, Brainspotting-informed techniques, systems thinking, and faith-informed principles. Rather than focusing exclusively on performance outcomes, ASCEND looks at the person behind the performance.
At ASCEND Performance & Wellness, we believe sustainable peak performance comes from understanding and integrating the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and environment.
High performance isn't limited to the athletic arena. Whether you're an elite athlete, business executive, high-performing student, leader, or member of a team, the ability to perform consistently depends on much more than skill or preparation. Your thoughts, physiology, emotions, relationships, environment, values, and sense of purpose all influence how you show up when it matters most.
